About The Campaign
The ‘Don’t Sit On It’ campaign is all about confronting sensitive issues, head-on. Informing people that help is at hand and – most importantly – convincing them to take action.
Although our primary audience is haemorrhoid sufferers, we are also using the message to promote good colon health and convince incontinence, colitis and constipation sufferers to come forward.
Our approach is to get to the point. There’s no point treading on egg-shells when you’re talking about issues that could lead to something more serious, such as Crohn’s Disease, or even cancer.
To do this, we are using illustration with a humourous edge to disarm the situation enabling us to lead the communication with provocative headlines. Breaking in national press health supplements, this awareness initiative will operate across traditional, digital and social media.
