About Us

The Haemorrhoid Centre provides information about the THD procedure, a treatment for Haemorrhoids.

We can also provide you with details of hospitals, treatment centres, and colorectal surgeons carrying out the haemorrhoid procedure in your area.

If you think you may have piles, or may be experiencing some of the symptoms of piles, we advise that you see your GP as soon as possible, because it is only your own doctor who can offer you the advice you are looking for.

Your GP will assess your medical condition to determine the best course of action for you, and refer you to a specialist colorectal consultant if necessary. THD surgery is available both under the NHS and for self pay patients, or those with medical insurance.

Request treatment information today through our contact form and our team will be in touch to further discuss your options.

The THD procedure is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to treat haemorrhoids (or piles), it is carried out at over 150 hospitals in the UK, both private and NHS. To get treated at an NHS hospital you will first need a referral from your GP.

For private hospital treatments you will be able to call the hospital directly to book a private consultation. Our ‘Choose and Book’ section shows all the hospitals that carry out THD treatment in your area.

We also provide information more about what causes haemorrhoids (piles) and what to do if you have piles during pregnancy.
